How it started

KLS Waterless Nail Bar was created to introduce a more refined, intentional approach to nail care in the Corning area. Built on advanced Russian techniques and a waterless methodology, KLS moves away from traditional walk-in salon models and toward a cleaner, more precise experience. Every service is performed with meticulous attention to detail, prioritizing nail health, longevity, and elevated results in a calm, private setting.

At the heart of KLS is a belief in quality over quantity. By focusing on fewer, more specialized services, KLS delivers a level of care that feels personal, thoughtful, and elevated. From the products selected to the techniques used and the environment created, every detail is considered—ensuring each client leaves feeling confident, cared for, and genuinely valued.

Waterless nail care is a more intentional approach to beauty—rooted in cleanliness, precision, and long-lasting results. By eliminating soaking, we maintain full control of the nail and cuticle throughout the service, allowing for meticulous detailing and a higher standard of hygiene.

Without water softening the skin or nail plate, products adhere better, structure lasts longer, and each finish appears cleaner and more refined. At KLS, waterless care isn’t a trend—it’s our commitment to doing things better.

Meet Aiyana

Aiyana is often the first friendly face you’ll encounter at KLS. With a background in administrative business and a natural gift for connecting with people, she helps ensure every visit begins with a warm welcome and a seamless experience.

An extrovert at heart, Aiyana loves spending time outdoors and making meaningful connections with friends and family. When she’s not at the studio, she’s working toward her future goal of becoming a radiologist. At KLS, she’s here to make sure every guest feels comfortable, cared for, and excited to be part of the experience.

  • With over 11 years of experience in the beauty industry, Kayla is the proud owner of KLS Waterless Nail Bar and a passionate specialist in high-quality gel services. She is known for her love of all things nails, precision work, and commitment to natural nail health.

    Kayla has a deep passion for educating and mentoring new technicians and believes in creating a salon culture rooted in quality, connection, and community. To her, clients quickly become friends, and every guest should feel special, seen, and genuinely cared for. Her motto, “quality over quantity,” guides both her services and her networking.

    When she’s not in the salon, Kayla enjoys spending time on the boat with her family and dog on Keuka Lake.

Community Giving

Supporting our local community is important to us. To ensure we can give intentionally and sustainably, KLS accepts a limited number of charitable requests each year.

We review and select up to four donation or service requests annually. Preference is given to clients of KLS and to those connected to the women-owned businesses within our building.

All submissions are thoughtfully considered and reviewed at the owner’s discretion.
